| DEPENDABLE CLEANERS' EMPLOYEES EARN "CERTIFIED GARMENT CARE PROFESSIONALS" RECOGNITION Cifrino and Grippi earn triple professional certification! Quincy , MA (November 10, 2006) – Christa Hagearty, President of Dependable Cleaners, is pleased to announce that District Manager Bill Cifrino and Senior Technical Training Specialist Kenneth Grippi, who is also a well-known preservation and restoration expert for antique fabrics, have been recognized as two of the very first "Certified Garment Care Professionals" by the International Fabricare Institute (IFI). This makes them the only cleaners in New England to earn this designation, and among only a handful of cleaners in the United States with this title. In order to achieve this status, both had to earn three professional certifications: Certified Professional Drycleaner; Certified Environmental Drycleaner; and Certified Professional Wetcleaner. These requirements ensure each drycleaner's expertise on various issues, including up-to-date knowledge of environmental issues and regulations, as well as professional and safe operation of professional dry cleaning equipment and procedures. "It takes a great deal of knowledge and expertise to differentiate yourself by achieving these honorable distinctions," Hagearty said "Having key people who meet the requirements for these prestigious designations, solidifies our commitment to providing quality, knowledgeable service for our customers." Cifrino and Grippi have both trained Dependable Cleaners employees in all areas of operation, including tailoring, laundry, pressing, dry cleaning and repair. Cifrino spent a decade in retail distribution before joining Dependable Cleaners as a District Manager, a job title he has held for more than 18 years. A resident of Carver, Cifrino has two children, Olivia, age 16 and Hayden, age 13. Grippi is trained and certified in the restoration and preservation of wedding gowns and vintage garments by the Association of Wedding Gown Specialists. An industry veteran with 40 years of experience in the dry cleaning industry, Grippi has worked for Dependable Cleaners for more than 35 years, serving as a Manager and District Manager for the company. He is a resident of Quincy, where he lives with his wife, Priscilla, and their dog, Annie. He enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, Page and Kayla.
