Gail Ritter, Manager, Hingham, Mass.

Gail Ritter is a prime example of how much can be achieved with a career at Dependable Cleaners through hard work and dedication. An employee of Dependable Cleaners for more than 21 years, Gail is the Manager of our Hingham store.

Gail began her career with Dependable at the Quincy Center store, when former President Fred Fawcett hired her as a Tagger in the early 1980s. Although a lot has changed at Dependable Cleaners over these last two decades (including the closing of the Quincy Center store and Fred's niece, Christa Hagearty becoming President), one thing has remained unchanged: Gail's status as a "dependable," committed employee. She has built a reputation for handling every challenge with energy and enthusiasm. "Coming to work is always exciting," Gail claims. "Every day brings fresh surprises, big and small."

Gail says that she enjoys Dependable's warm and friendly atmosphere. "I truly enjoy coming to work every day," she states. "I consider everyone at Dependable, from the customers to the employees, as part of my family. It's like my second home." In fact, David Ritter, who is now Gail's husband, was the one who first introduced her to Dependable Cleaners. "We had been friends since childhood and he was working at Dependable as a District Manager," she points out. "He helped me get a job here."

Today, in her spare time, Gail enjoys spending quiet moments with David and their dog, Gus, at home in Brockton.
