
Dependable Cleaners realizes that a diverse workforce requires a
wide range of benefit options. With our comprehensive benefits program,
each employee is able to customize his or her package to meet his
or her individual needs.
Medical Insurance
After completion of their first 30 days, full-time employees become
eligible to participate in our health insurance plan: Blue Cross
Blue Shield - HMO Blue Value Plus. For each participant, Dependable
Cleaners contributes approximately 70% of individual weekly coverage
costs and approximately 40% of family weekly coverage costs.
Dental Insurance
Full-time employees who have completed six months of service are
eligible to purchase coverage in our Delta Dental plan. Dependable
Cleaners contributes 50% of both individual and family coverage.
Life Insurance
Full-time employees who have been on our team for one year are automatically
enrolled into a term life insurance policy, equal to one times the
employee's annual salary, entirely paid for by Dependable Cleaners.
Additional coverage is available for members willing to contribute
to their coverage.
Short Term Disability Insurance
Full-time employees who have completed six months of service are
eligible to purchase short-term disability insurance. The Sun Life
policy offers full and partial disability coverage for up to six
months. Employees may enroll within 30 days of their six-month anniversary.
Long
Term Disability Insurance
Employees are automatically
enrolled at no cost to the employee. The Sun Life policy offers
full disability up to normal retirement age 65.
401(k) Savings Plan
Employees over 21 years of age who have completed one year of service
and a minimum of 1000 hours are eligible to participate in our 401(k)
Retirement Savings Plan. Eligible employees may deduct a percentage
of their pay and contribute to the plan on a pretax basis. Additionally,
Dependable makes a matching contribution towards your savings.

Discount Policy
All employees receive a 40% discount on dry cleaning, laundry and
alteration services. The benefit is also extended to family members
within the employee’s immediate household.
Vacations
Vacation is a time for you to rest, relax and pursue special interests.
Because we feel that this is an important time for you to re-energize,
Dependable Cleaners offers paid vacation as one of the many ways
in which we show our appreciation for your service. All full-time
employees begin earning paid vacation time at their six-month anniversary.
Part-time employees begin earning paid vacation time at one year.

Pay
Employees are paid for six holidays per year.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
The EAP is a free and confidential benefit for you and your family
members where licensed EAP counselors at Sobel & Raciti provide
counseling, crisis intervention and referral resources.
